VICTORIAN, SAPPHIRE, RUBY, AND DIAMOND INSECT BROOCH


Old mine cut diamonds weighing approximately 2.40 carats total, rose cut diamonds, round faceted rubies, synthetic ruby, and sapphires. Silver and gold. 1 1/2 x 2 inches.
Gross weight: 14.50 dwt.

Condition
Overall Condition: Acid test indicates 14 karat gold. A few diamonds are chipped. Soldier marks on the back of the brooch. Discoloration to the metal consistent with age and wear.
